ABOUT

Falling in love with delicate and dainty jewellery herself, and wanting to design jewellery that respects and takes care of our amazing planet. Cat, the designer and maker of Angharad May, decided her business was going to make a difference.

Based in Yorkshire, her beautiful designs are handmade from Recycled and Single Mine Origin Precious Metals- Sterling Silver 925 and 9ct, 14ct and 18ct Solid Gold.

Her Gemstones are Responsibly Sourced- using Ethically Traceable Semi-Precious Gemstones, Lab Grown Cubic Ziconia Gemstones and introducing Recycled Semi-Precious Gemstones in late 2024.

Her pieces are inspired by the wonderful world around her, especially nature, love and the relationships with ourselves and others.

Her dainty and delicate pieces have a story to tell and are made for a reason, giving meaning to the wearer.

Angharad, being her middle name, and May being the middle name of her Grandma. Angharad May was born.

A lover of the outdoors, particularly hiking, kayaking, sunsets, sunrises, lakes, mountains, wild swimming and starry skies. Cat lovingly handmakes her designs in Yorkshire, with her little love, her 15 year old Golden Retriever Charlie by her side.

Her dream is to move to the Lake District or a Scottish island one day- she currently can’t decide which as both are so beautiful. She plans on opening a small shop to continue making her delicate and feminine designs, giving meaning and making memories for the wearer for years to come.

You will find Cat and her jewellery at Artisan Markets throughout the year, mainly in Yorkshire. Though for the 2024 Summer and Autumn season she unfortunately won’t be trading, due to her little love not being too well, and wanting to spend as much time as she can with him.

To keep up to date with what is happening, head over to her instagram account @angharadmayjewellery. Cat uses this social platform as her main way of sharing her designs and behind the scenes information. Though she might not be on instagram everyday, and sometimes a week or two at a time due to being busy. You can still find out up to date information.

For Commissions please get in touch via the contact form. Cat makes special pieces of jewellery in her unique style to signify important occaisions, or just to tell a loved one (including yourself) your so loved, so enough and you can do this!

Her jewellery is more than just a piece adorned across a neckline or wrapped around a finger. Her jewellery signifies a deeper meaning of love, memories and moments, all focused on the wearer.
